Wednesday, September 04, 2002 at 06:00 PM (CDT) Dear Sweetest Angel Kaitlyn, I can definantly tell your Mommy still misses you so much. She wasn't quite herself for a few days and that is so much like her. She tries to speak your name when a picture of you is in front of her. You are still everywhere in her life. You're in her mind, in her therapy, in her room. She is every part of you as much as you are of her. I hope you in enjoyed butterflies. Your Mommy watched them until the tiny dots disappeared. I thought this page wouldn't be right without some from from your Mommy, so below is something she wrote at the beginning of this year.

We Were Happy
We were happy once, together, Then in an instant you were gone and the world changed... The sun drifted behind a cloud and the heartache set in... And the only thing that drives it away, Is the memory of the time you were with us... And the joy you left behind.

A Guardian Angel Flew down from above, To teach me a lesson About the powers of love.
She whispers to me, Takes a hold of my hand, There are so many things I wish you to understand.
About the powers of love, And all it can do, To someone who needs To share it with you.
A pat on the back, A kind smile on your face, Can make someone's life, A much brighter place.
It doesn't take much, To show someone you care, To give them the love, God gave you to share.
So please keep in mind, All the powers you possess, To grace someone's life, When they're in distress.
You've been put on this earth To bestow the powers of love, And with those final words, She disappeared up above

Friends may think we have forgotten When at times they see us smile. Little do they know the heartaches, That our smiles hide, all the while. Beautiful memories are wonderful things, That last 'til the longest day. They never wear out, they never get lost, And can never be given away. To some you may be forgotten, To others, a part of the past, But to those who love you and lost you, You memory will always last.
